Since opening our doors in 2019, our mission has been to elevate the humble fry into an experience that’s both nostalgic and exciting.
The Inspiration Our founder’s, Deepak Magdlung and Sunil Richter, has always had a passion for street food, especially the iconic Belgian-style fries. After traveling and tasting various versions of this beloved dish, they realised there was an opportunity to introduce a fresh take on fries, with a focus on quality, locally-sourced ingredients, and bold flavours. The idea of Frittenland was born from a love of simple, delicious food that brings people together.
The Early Days When we first opened, we started as a small shop, experimenting with different types of potatoes, cooking methods, and unique sauces. Word spread quickly, and soon, Frittenland became known as the go-to spot for anyone craving perfectly cooked fries, Burgers and Sauces.
Our Growth Over the years, we’ve expanded our menu to include a variety of creative toppings, poutines, and snacks, always keeping fries at the heart of everything we do. Our loyal customers have been with us through every new addition, and we’ve continued to innovate while staying true to our original vision.
